Anthony Abrahams - Group Managing Director

Anthony qualified as a Solicitor in 1978 and was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1989. He has specialised in civil litigation and was the partner in charge of litigation at Pictons and Heald Solicitors. At Pictons he was in charge of all fee earning departments there and a Board member. In 2008 he completed his MBA at Nottingham Law School which he was awarded with Distinction.

Anthony served in the Territorial Army for 30 years attaining the rank of Colonel. In 2006/7 he served an operational tour in Iraq working with Civil and Military authorities both Iraqi and Coalition, to establish the rule of law. Much of his work there involved human rights issues and the treatment of detainees from the legal perspective as well as their treatment.

Anthony was Vice Chairman of the Governors at Bedford School and retains an interest there and in local and military charities. He was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of the County of Bedfordshire in 2007. Anthony is married with three children. He and his family are keen supporters of Northampton Saints.
